The demonstration

Two minutes to understand
the R-System.

01 · The plenum

Made in Bordeaux,
built to last.

Sized to the indoor unit already in place, assembled in our own factory.

R-System plenum with motorised dampers

The proof from the factory

Precision machines. Clean cuts, consistent geometry.

The insulation goes on the inside. It does not get damaged in transit, it does not tear in the loft, and the plenum reaches the customer as it left the factory.

02 · The actuators

Belimo,
made in Switzerland.

The damper is the part that moves every day for fifteen years. We fitted it with Belimo, the world reference for HVAC actuators.

03 · The control unit

The control unit,
by Salus Controls.

Delivered fully pre-wired. Under the cover, the eight zones and the Intesis module, already connected.

Intesis, the dialogue with the heat pump

Communication with the heat pump goes through an Intesis interface, made in Spain. A stable integration, proven in the field.

04 · The wireless network

Zigbee,
reliable wireless.

A protocol recognised for its reliability, dedicated to home automation and independent of the home Wi-Fi. Every mains-powered device relays the signal, and the supplied gateway strengthens the mesh between the thermostats and the plenum.

05 · The Zigbee gateway

Three ways
to connect it.

With or without the app, you decide on site.

UG800 gateway

Local network

The gateway is powered and runs the Zigbee network on its own. No internet access required, control happens at the thermostats.

No app · Offline

Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz

Connection to the home network on 2.4 GHz, with access to the app and to the installer account. Keep this for the cases where Ethernet is not possible.

App and remote access

Ethernet · recommended

Wired link to the router or the switch. No dependency on the quality of the home Wi-Fi, no reconfiguration when the router changes.

06 · The thermostats

The slimmest
on the market.

The thickness of a light switch. No more box standing off the wall. Here the control gear steps back and leaves the room to the interior itself.

The thermostat leaves its magnetic bracket in one movement, is set in the hand, recharges over USB-C, then goes back on the wall.

07 · Simplicity

See the temperature,
change it in one move.

That is what a thermostat is for. The temperature stays on screen at all times, with no need to wake it, and the setpoint changes in a single action.

One press is enough to change the setpoint

08 · The app

The premium thermostat
is your own screen.

On the wall, the zone thermostat does its job: read the temperature and change it. As soon as an overview is needed, or the settings, the customer's phone, tablet or computer is quicker, on iOS as on Android.

The tablet takes the role of central screen, with a bracket and a socket

Where the wall thermostat shows one room, the app shows the whole house. Every zone displays its setpoint and its actual temperature side by side, and is corrected with one press.

Schedules and settings are handled in the same place, along with the shutters, the openings and the detectors of the installation.

Dampers are set remotely, to the nearest degree

The opening and closing of each damper is adjusted from the app, room by room. Balancing the network no longer means climbing into the loft.

An installer account for your call-outs

Most requests are handled without travelling. The installer account gives remote access to your customers' installations and prepares systems before fitting.

Remote troubleshooting

A setting or a diagnostic is done from the office, on the customer's installation.

Setup before fitting

The system is configured at the office and arrives on site already set.

The Salus world

The whole home,
in one place.

R-System fits into the Salus ecosystem: connected radiators, underfloor heating, stove, opening and presence detectors, roller shutters, lighting.

Detectors

Scenarios between devices

Devices talk to each other. One event triggers an action, with no intervention.

Window open

The opening detector switches off the air conditioning in that room.

Empty meeting room

No presence for 30 minutes, the air conditioning switches off.

Coming home at the end of the day

Lights and heating come on as you arrive.

The app

An app that is
100% free.

No licence at installation, no subscription afterwards. The same account opens on phone, on tablet and on computer, and gives access to the same installation.

Nothing to allow for in the quotation for control, nothing for the customer to renew once the job is done.
